I hope you don’t mind my movie…

I hope you don’t mind my movie; I’m just grubbing for a quick snack. In the middle of my fifth grub, it got me thinking.

This whole earth belongs to me…
I know how fine and rich it really is…
It has a backstory of creating every heartbeat…
My sweet, foggy brain strains to make sense of it.

It was set into motion a long time ago…
And I can feel that motion still today…
It sets aflame my soul with an eternal song…
The harmonies thousands of levels deep.

Each day for me is like going to a carnival…
With booths and rides and laughter…
Like a world within a world…
And all I have to do is hang another string of colored lights.

You know the earth is so rich, I don’t have to eat dog food out of a can (I do it just to make my butlers happy…)
I can fish and hunt and graze…
My basket is always full…
With thousands of tons to spare.

This world is carpeted with greens and blues…
Like schools of fish its harmony moves through me…
And each day it allows me to scrape out another rhyme…
Guess what? This whole earth also belongs to you.

Open your eyes!

I love you,

Annie
